| This documentary is a story about my Nepali boyfriend and me. I started a trip to Nepal and realized another trip to self-searching in the relationship. The documentary discusses the transition of my position in the relationship through two trips-both in the physical world to Nepal and the spiritual quest to my innermost self. Before the journey, I considered myself an independent individual. Gradually I discovered that without self-awareness I put myself in an inferior ”feminine” position in order to cater to my lover. Toward the end of the trip on the foreign land, many events shocked me culturally, and thus gave me chances for introspection. Eventually I could value the importance of my own existence. |
