Korean adoptee Jenny works at a hip New York café while dreaming of a career as a photographer. Alone in the city after cutting ties with her adopted family after an incestuous moment with stepbrother Joe, she moves in with new roommates and begins to explore her ethnic identity and romance until Joe reappears.
